Welcome to Innr Wellness. By booking and attending appointments, or using our website, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully to ensure clarity around our policies, your responsibilities, and how we handle your personal information.
1. Appointments, Late Arrivals & Cancellations
Cancellations:
- Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment will not incur a fee.
- Cancellations made within 24 hours, or missed appointments (no-shows), will be charged 50% of the appointment fee.
Late Arrivals:
- If you are running late, please notify us as soon as possible by emailing info@innr-wellness.co.uk or by calling: 07724 573400.
- We will always do our best to accommodate you, but please note that your session may not be extended, especially if another client is booked immediately after you.
- If you arrive 20 minutes or more after your scheduled start time without prior notice, your appointment may be considered cancelled, and the full fee will be payable.
2. Payment Terms
All payments are due at the time of your appointment. We accept cash and card. Cancellation fees, where applicable, will be invoiced and must be paid promptly.




3. Data Protection & Privacy Notice
At Innr Wellness, your privacy and data security are a priority. This notice outlines how we collect, store, and use your information in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and other applicable laws.
What Information We Hold
We may collect and retain the following:
- Personal Data: such as your name, contact details, date of birth, and appointment history.
- Health Information: patient notes, symptom details, treatment history, and other information relevant to your care (classified as ‘special category data’ under UK GDPR).
This policy applies to all individuals who use our services — including current, prospective, and former patients, as well as visitors to our website.
How Your Data Is Stored
- We ensure all data is stored and destroyed securely and only retain information that is relevant.
- All personal and health-related data is stored electronically in secure, password-protected systems.
- No third parties have access to your information, and we do not share, sell, or disclose your data without your explicit consent, unless required by law.
Use of Information
- Your personal data is used solely for the purpose of delivering safe and effective treatment.
- Your name, phone number, and email may be used to book and manage appointments, send treatment-related updates, and communicate policy or pricing changes.
- Please note that appointment confirmation emails are not encrypted. By contacting us via email, you accept responsibility for the lawful use of email communications.
We also maintain a permanent appointment log for tax purposes, legal record-keeping, and in the case of insurance claims or complaints.
Retention of Records
- Patient records are retained for eight years following your last appointment, or until a child patient reaches age 26, whichever is longer.
- In the event of referral to another healthcare provider, your data may be shared with your consent to support your ongoing care.
- In the event of a formal complaint or adverse incident, relevant information (including personal data) may be shared with the British Acupuncture Council and our professional insurers to facilitate proper handling of the matter. Your consent will be sought; however, refusal to provide consent may prevent the issue from being addressed anonymously. Complaint records are retained for two years after resolution.
4. Disclaimer
Acupuncture is a complementary therapy and should not replace medical care from a licensed healthcare provider. Individual results may vary. You are encouraged to consult your GP or other medical professionals regarding any serious health concerns.
By having acupuncture you acknowledge that some mild bruising may occur on the needle site which is temporary.
By having cupping treatment you acknowledge that bruising/purple or red marks around the cupping site are normal, temporary and usually resolve within one week.
By having gua sha treatment you acknowledge that some red marking may be present and that this is normal, usually the marks disappear within a few days.
5. Intellectual Property & Content Usage
All content on the Innr Wellness website, including but not limited to text, images, graphics, logos, and design elements, is the intellectual property of Innr Wellness unless otherwise stated. This content is protected by copyright and other applicable intellectual property laws.
Unauthorized use, reproduction, copying, distribution, or modification of any part of this website — including wording, imagery, or design — is strictly prohibited without prior written consent.
Anyone found to be replicating or misusing any content from this website may be subject to legal action. We take the protection of our intellectual property seriously and will enforce our rights to the fullest extent permitted by law.
